LEICHESTER CITY WON THE PREMIER LEAGUE YET?

Leicester City have been impressive this season. The Foxes currently sit atop the EPL league with 69 points from 32 games. The impressive sides have lost just three matches in the Premier League this season. With six games to go, there’s no stopping this highly confident team.

Some analysts have said the team would have it difficult with Sunderland and West Ham in upcoming fixtures this weekend and next week respectively. They say the team would drop points and this would set Tottenham up for an all-round impressive outing this season. However, it should be noted that The Foxes have a seven-point lead over the Spurs.

A consistently counter attacking team like Leicester City with talented players such as Algerian Riyad Mahrez, prolific goal scorer, Jamie Vardy and Andrej Kramaric would definitely not let three games slip, especially when the EPL title is in sight. The seven point-lead gives them a three game advantage over Spurs, with the remaining six games being encounters against Sunderland this weekend, West Ham next week, 15th placed Swansea, The Red Devils, 12th placed Everton and struggling EPL champions, Chelsea. All the foxes need do is secure three wins and change their league history forever.

On the other hand, Tottenham will battle Manchester United this weekend. Quite notable is that The Red Devils are trying hard to make the UEFA Champions League qualification, being just a point behind fourth-placed Manchester City. The Spurs would also face Stoke, West Brom, Chelsea, Southampton and Newcastle.

The team also has a strong midfield in Danny Drinkwater, and one of the most impressive defensive midfield signing this season in N’Golo Kante. Kante is a high-energy and very hardworking midfielder that has made a difference in Leicester City’s EPL bid this season.

Arsene Wenger had this to say about the talented midfielder: “He’s had a remarkable impact on Leicester and also on the Premier League.”
