Actually I agree on everything you say, except for vermaelen, when he’s ok, he often plays as a wing back, which is a shame because he’s a perfect leader for the central defense
@Schaezen Vermaelen was injured for more than a year, otherwise he would play and if Kompany was/is available, he will always play and sure he did. Don’t underestimate Lombaerts, he’s really good on positioning, hight and strength. Van Buyten played because of his experience but I agree that he’s an afwul defender just because he always makes a critical mistake. The only reason he sometimes plays is that he’s the best scoring defender on death ball situations..
moron begium coach uses lombaerts – van buyten in central defense. i hope that one day he will understand that two of the best defenders in the world are belgian and named kompany & vermaelen

@tech4156 Funny as I am sure one of the only good players mentioned is named adam johnson rather than andy. City best players include vincent kompany, nigel de jong and joe hart rather than just the attacking players. Better luck next time with your omissions and next time fact check so you dont make your self look foolish and cast assertions on one of the most consistant players in the premiership whilst doing so.
