SANCHO REVEALS HOW KOMPANY REPRIMANDED HIM

New Manchester United recruit Jadon Sancho has revealed how former Manchester City skipper Vincent Kompany reprimanded him in training while he was still at the club. England international Sancho left City to join German Bundesliga outfit Borussia Dortmund for a fee believed to be around €10m plus a sell-on clause with the young winger desperate for first team football. Sancho left Manchester City to join Dortmund four years ago.

England winger Sancho told JD Sports how he received a reprimand from Vincent Kompany after he nutmegged him in training. Vincent Kompany told him not to try it again. Anderlecht manager Kompany was not his only skipper to suffer a training ground nutmeg from Sancho. According to the new Manchester United player, he also nutmegged Borussia Dortmund skipper Marcel Schmelzer in training and he was told to stop it.

Sancho is a talented winger who’s presently part of the England team hoping to make history at Euro 2020. A video recently surfaced on the Internet where he sat his new club skipper Harry Maguire down on his backside in England training as they prepared to face Ukraine in the quarterfinals last week. Sancho started the Ukraine game at the StadioOlimpico, Rome in Italy as England thrashed the Ukrainians to book their place in the last four. Maguire was on target during the game which ended in a 4-0 win for the Three Lions. Sancho will join Maguire at Manchester United this summer after the Red Devils agreed a £73m deal for him.

Maguire, Sancho and England are in a maiden final at the European Championship meaning they can win the tournament for the first time. England have waited for a long time for a major tournament win. They have not won any tournament since the 1966 FIFA World triumph on home soil
